Upon completion, the Beverly Burton Trust will be able to provide annual scholarships for the Alabama Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year Recipient in the amount of $10,000.  No other recipient in the other states will receive this scholarship money.  At the present time, only the National Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year Recipient receives a $10,000 scholarship so this will be a great incentive for all the children who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs in the state of Alabama!  Even though Beverly volunteered her time with the clubs in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, if there were to be only one state in which this scholarship was given, I am sure she would have picked Alabama, the state in which she lived and volunteered most of her time.
